About Pshs Fab Lab

Pshs Fab Lab in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines is more than a workspace — it is a launchpad for innovation in Philippines. the lab offers state-of-the-art equipment, including 3D printers, laser engravers, electronics benches, and CAD workstations, within a collaborative, community-driven environment. Startups use the space to build early-stage hardware prototypes; educators run practical STEM sessions for school groups; and independent makers pursue personal projects with expert support on hand. Regular themed hackathons and innovation challenges help participants push boundaries and connect with like-minded creators across Metro Manila. With a strong focus on learning by doing, Pshs Fab Lab embodies the global maker movement's ethos of open, collaborative, hands-on creativity.

Description

The PSHS Fab Lab is located at the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) Main Campus on Agham Road, Diliman, Quezon City. This is an alumni class project led by the PSHS Class of 1990. Funding for the lab has come mainly from individual alumni gifts and sponsorships from Philippine corporations, as well as PSHS Main Campus budget. Additional in-kind contributions have been made by equipment companies. The project was conducted in close collaboration with PSHS Main Campus Director Gene Andres and is currently managed by school administration, faculty, and students. Primary users of the PSHS Fab Lab are students, faculty, and staff at the PSHS Main Campus.
