Description

The Philippine Trade Training Center - Global MSME Academy is the training arm of the Philippine's Department of Trade and Industry. Its prime mandate is to provide trade-related capability building programs to micro, small and medium enterprises that would support business development and entrepreneurial growth of its workforce.

In 2018, PTTC proposed the DIGIFAB in the Shared Service Facility project that aims to increase productivity through access to machines and creation of job through prototyping and package design.

In 2020, PTTC DIGIFAB was officially opened where it will serve as a makerspace for entrepreneurs, as well as provide assistance to the FAB LABs Philippines Network as its official Secretariat. PTTC DIGIFAB, unlike most PH-based Fab Labs, is not hosted by a state university or college. We are the only FAB LAB hosted by a national government agency.
