About Fabulosa Lab

Located in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil, Fabulosa Lab is a vibrant hub for hands-on innovation in Brazil. the space brings together makers, students, and technology enthusiasts in a fully equipped fabrication and prototyping environment. From 3D printing and electronics to robotics and software development, the lab supports projects at every stage — from initial concept to working prototype. Weekly open maker nights, technical workshops, and collaborative sprints make it easy for anyone in RJ to get started, regardless of background or experience level. Fabulosa Lab is committed to growing the region's STEM ecosystem by connecting creative individuals with the resources and community they need to bring bold ideas to life.

Description

Since 2014 the makers from Fabulosa Community has organized several Pop-up Makerspaces events. Different events have been tested, ranging from 1 up to 10 days length and making digital fabrication machines as Laser Cutters, 3D Printers and CNC Routers available for everyone. In 2023 time has come to finally set up our own space where we can develop projects, create content and educational materials and host courses, workshops and meetups for our community.
