Description
In addition to integrating the actions of the SEB Institute, AFábrica maintains collaborative spaces dedicated to creativity, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The name pays tribute to the history of the building, which once housed the former Cia. Cervejaria Paulista brewery, inaugurated in 1914 and designated as a historic landmark due to its architectural and cultural relevance to the city.
AFábrica is a place that celebrates the past and envisions the future, where technology, innovation, and culture operate in harmony. In addition to areas dedicated to SEB Institute programs, visitors have access to our Fab Lab.
The AFábrica Fab Lab provides a spacious, climate-controlled environment designed to support creative individuals through workshops and training programs. The space is equipped with audiovisual systems, workbenches for manual activities, and workstations featuring a wide selection of hand and power tools for prototyping and experimentation.
The facility includes 3D printers, a CNC machine for woodworking, a precision CNC unit dedicated to printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication, a laser cutting machine, and computers that offer technical support for project development.
