Located in Perugia, Umbria, Italy, Fablab Perugia is a vibrant hub for hands-on innovation in Italy. the space brings together makers, students, and technology enthusiasts in a fully equipped fabrication and prototyping environment. From 3D printing and electronics to robotics and software development, the lab supports projects at every stage — from initial concept to working prototype. Weekly open maker nights, technical workshops, and collaborative sprints make it easy for anyone in Umbria to get started, regardless of background or experience level. Fablab Perugia is committed to growing the region's STEM ecosystem by connecting creative individuals with the resources and community they need to bring bold ideas to life.

Description

FabLab Perugia, primo spazio FabLab della città di Perugia, nasce dalla collaborazione tra due realtà: una privata, la Fabula Animations e una istituzionale, l’Accademia di Belle Arti “Pietro Vannucci”. La Fabula Animations è una società cooperativa fondata nel 2012 con intenti artistici rivolti all’animazione e alla contaminazione sinergica tra l’arte e le tecnologie digitali. L’Accademia di Belle Arti “Pietro Vannucci”, la seconda accademia artistica più antica d’Italia fondata nel 1573, si propone come pioniere in una rivoluzione tecnologica che collega indissolubilmente un’accademia artistica con un Fablab. Dopo tre anni di collaborazione il Fablab Perugia è entrato a far parte della nascente FILOSOFIA DIGITALE un grande polo innovativo di cui fanno parte altre realtà del territorio: GRAFOX srl, PROMOVIDEO, BETRADE, SESTABASE, PALU'. FabLab Perugia opera secondo i tre criteri base su cui si fonda il network mondiale dei FabLab ossia: Share, Learn and Make.
