About Fablab Mérida
Fablab Mérida in Mérida, Badajoz, Spain is more than a workspace — it is a launchpad for innovation in Spain. the lab offers state-of-the-art equipment, including 3D printers, laser engravers, electronics benches, and CAD workstations, within a collaborative, community-driven environment. Startups use the space to build early-stage hardware prototypes; educators run practical STEM sessions for school groups; and independent makers pursue personal projects with expert support on hand. Regular themed hackathons and innovation challenges help participants push boundaries and connect with like-minded creators across Badajoz. With a strong focus on learning by doing, Fablab Mérida embodies the global maker movement's ethos of open, collaborative, hands-on creativity.

They primarily serve design and technologies students, and the educational community.
We are open to the general public. They develop not only European Erasmus+ projects but also develop a lifelong learning style that makes tries to create the best place to learn for every motivated associate that joins.
This space currently works at a regional and interregional level with the different makerspaces and youth spaces in Alentejo and Extremadura. If you are interested in working with us, shoot us a message.
This space was created under Junta de Extremadura funds and we feel grateful for the time proffesors in the University of Extremadura spent in the devlopment of the minifabs project.
