Description

A Fab Lab is a prototyping plataform for innovation and invention by providing a stimulus to local entrepreneurship. It is also a platform for learning for learning and innovation: a place to play, create, learn and invent. The network created en the United States by professor Neil Gershenfeld, director of the Center for Bits and Atoms at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Being a FAB Lab means being connected to a global community of students, educators, technicians, researchers, "makers" and innovators; aknowledge sharing network that spans 30 countries and 24 time zones.
