About Fablab Chocó
Fablab Chocó is a community Makerspace in Quibdó, Chocó, Colombia, Colombia. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. The space hosts regular STEM workshops, coding sprints, and design thinking sessions that attract talent from across Chocó. Whether you are a first-time maker or a seasoned hardware engineer, Fablab Chocó offers the tools, community, and mentorship needed to build, iterate, and innovate — making it one of the most valuable innovation resources in Colombia.

En uno de los departamentos de Colombia más ricos en cultura, biodiversidad y minería, pero a su vez, con altos índices de necesidades básicas insatisfechas, desigualdad y con graves problemáticas sociales; se desarrolla este centro de investigación y fabricación digital, como alternativa para niños, jóvenes y el sector productivo donde lograran aprovechar su conocimiento ancestral, cultural y productivo para la creación de soluciones a problemáticas locales.
