Description

The ITEC FAB LAB is the prototyping laboratory of the Universidade Franciscana (UFN), located in Campus II and adjacent to the ITEC Park UFN, the university's Science and Technology Park. The space was created to foster a maker culture, open innovation, and the development of creative solutions for challenges in society, education, and industry.
The lab provides infrastructure for prototype creation and technical experimentation, offering access to tools and technologies that support project development across various fields. It encourages hands-on learning, interdisciplinarity, and co-creation, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving.
The ITEC FAB LAB is open to students, entrepreneurs, educators, researchers, and companies. It promotes workshops, educational activities, and collaborative projects aimed at generating social, educational, and economic impact. It serves as a creative hub within the innovation ecosystem of the Central Region of Rio Grande do Sul.
