About Unionlab
Unionlab is a community Makerspace in Brazzaville, Congo, Congo. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. The space hosts regular STEM workshops, coding sprints, and design thinking sessions that attract talent from across Brazzaville. Whether you are a first-time maker or a seasoned hardware engineer, Unionlab offers the tools, community, and mentorship needed to build, iterate, and innovate — making it one of the most valuable innovation resources in Congo.
Description
Bénéficiaire d’un accompagnement en équipement et en formation sur financement du Ministère Français de l’Europe et des Affaires Etrangères, le FabLab est abrité par L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique (ENSP) de l’université Marien NGOUABI.
Ce laboratoire, inauguré en novembre 2023 dernier par son Excellence Madame Claire BODONYI, Ambassadrice de France au Congo, présente au grand public les différentes étapes de la réalisation d’un objet, depuis la création de son modèle numérique jusqu’à sa fabrication. Le Fablab accueille aussi des projets, des travaux d'étudiants, dans le cadre de leur projet d'ingénierie à développer au cours de leur formation.
