About Studio 5

Located in Doha, Qatar, Studio 5 is a vibrant hub for hands-on innovation in Qatar. the space brings together makers, students, and technology enthusiasts in a fully equipped fabrication and prototyping environment. From 3D printing and electronics to robotics and software development, the lab supports projects at every stage — from initial concept to working prototype. Weekly open maker nights, technical workshops, and collaborative sprints make it easy for anyone in Qatar to get started, regardless of background or experience level. Studio 5 is committed to growing the region's STEM ecosystem by connecting creative individuals with the resources and community they need to bring bold ideas to life.

Description

Studio 5 is an initiative created by the Digital Society Sector, at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Studio 5 caters to youth aged 7-24 in Qatar. We seek to facilitate the Digital Revolution within the Qatari society and community to provide the youth with knowledge and skills in digital fabrication and emerging technology. The dedicated space aims to trigger a mindset shift in the youth in Qatar from consumer to creators and innovators.
