Description

The Digital Fabrication Lab (Maker Space) at NNPC Research & Technology Innovation (RTI) is a world-class facility designed to revolutionise prototyping and product development. Equipped with advanced tools such as 3D printers, CNC machines (lathe and Milling), waterjet cutter, laser cutters, and electronics workstations, the lab enables rapid prototyping, custom fabrication, and hands-on STEM learning.
This strategic initiative addresses critical challenges in traditional manufacturing such as high costs, long lead times, and limited access to cutting-edge technologies by providing an open, collaborative environment for engineers, researchers, and innovators. By joining the global FabLab network, MakerSpace connects NNPC to international research communities, grant opportunities, and best practices, reinforcing our commitment to digital transformation and sustainability.
The lab is more than a workspace; it is a hub for innovation and talent development, fostering entrepreneurial thinking and accelerating time-to-market for new solutions in the Energy R & D ecosystem. From concept to prototype, Maker Space empowers creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving to deliver impactful solutions for NNPC and beyond.
