About Pracownia

Pracownia is a community Makerspace in Bydgoszcz, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland, Poland. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. The space hosts regular STEM workshops, coding sprints, and design thinking sessions that attract talent from across Kujawsko-Pomorskie. Whether you are a first-time maker or a seasoned hardware engineer, Pracownia offers the tools, community, and mentorship needed to build, iterate, and innovate — making it one of the most valuable innovation resources in Poland.

Description

The Pracownia Makerspace has been operating in Bydgoszcz, Poland since December 2018, running various workshops as well as cultural and social events. Currently the main activity are the crafts workshops. From sewing (including leather crafting), creating concrete pots, scented candles to soldering, 3D modelling and 3D printing and photography. The place welcomes anyone who has a need to use the available tools (or space) for their project. Pracownia organised more than 150 workshops and events during the first year. The function of the space is not only a makerspace, but also an incubator of various cultural, business and social events. At this point of time we are focused on build strong community first, having in mind the need to generate sustainable income in future.
