Pi:lab is a community Makerspace in Chania, Crete, Choose your State or Province below:, Greece, Greece. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. Description

pi:Lab was founded in April 2017 with the intent to develop a platform for learning, experimenting and creativity while hosting a space conducive to research, invention and fabrication of innovation prototypes. It is an open Laboratory, part of an open knowledge and skills sharing network accessible to anyone interested in learning and using new manufacturing technologies. The company operates mainly in the field of research and rapid prototyping in areas such as engineering, technology, manufacturing, materials and construction technology. The lab strives to cover a wide range of research from the theoretical approach and design to the investigation of automated digital manufacturing techniques and processes for the production of prototypes and even the mass production of small objects. The main goal of the company is to be an active node of the FabLabs network (Digital Fabrication Laboratories).
