Description

LURLAB is a non-profit organisation based in the Basque region. Our aim is to bring creative and technological resources to rural and periurban communities. We were established in 2021, setting up our first FabLab in Ataun, a small village in Gipuzkoa.

Currently, we're planning to move our headquarters to a larger building, a former factory, which will allow us to expand our activities. We're also working on opening new permanent facilities in Mutiloa and Itziar, increasing our impact across the region.

In late 2022, we launched LURLAB mobile. This is a project that takes digital fabrication tools, like 3D printers and CNC milling machines, directly to local communities. We offer workshops that help people learn about these technologies and encourage creativity.

Our goal with these projects is to meet the cultural and educational needs of the communities we serve. By doing so, we hope to promote creativity and contribute to the cultural life of the Basque Country.
