About Lima Makers

Lima Makers in Surquillo, Lima, Lima / Lima / Peru, Peru is more than a workspace — it is a launchpad for innovation in Peru. the lab offers state-of-the-art equipment, including 3D printers, laser engravers, electronics benches, and CAD workstations, within a collaborative, community-driven environment. Startups use the space to build early-stage hardware prototypes; educators run practical STEM sessions for school groups; and independent makers pursue personal projects with expert support on hand. Regular themed hackathons and innovation challenges help participants push boundaries and connect with like-minded creators across Lima / Lima / Peru. With a strong focus on learning by doing, Lima Makers embodies the global maker movement's ethos of open, collaborative, hands-on creativity.

Description

We are a Lab, and a workshop too, that enjoys developing prototypes and manufacturing a diverse variety of products. We produce, design and teach how to make, create, repair and develop almost anything. Lima Makers is a place where people can find some locally available traditional, manual and digital manufacturing tools. We also provide solutions according to the needs such as Design&Engineering Studio orientated to product design.

Our space is an interface between the ideas, local entrepreneurs, companies and educational institutions.
