As an Atal Tinkering Lab in JORHAT, ASSAM, India, Island Academy Jorhat serves as a catalyst for STEM learning and youth-led innovation in ASSAM, India. Established under Tranche Dec-21 of the Atal Innovation Mission, The facility equips students with access to cutting-edge tools — from 3D printers and laser cutters to Arduino and Raspberry Pi kits — enabling them to move from concept to creation in a supportive, mentor-guided environment. Workshops in design thinking, computational thinking, and entrepreneurship complement hands-on lab sessions, building a well-rounded innovation skill set.
