About Hofalab

Located in Hamburg, Germany, Hofalab is a vibrant hub for hands-on innovation in Germany. the space brings together makers, students, and technology enthusiasts in a fully equipped fabrication and prototyping environment. From 3D printing and electronics to robotics and software development, the lab supports projects at every stage — from initial concept to working prototype. Weekly open maker nights, technical workshops, and collaborative sprints make it easy for anyone in Hamburg to get started, regardless of background or experience level. Hofalab is committed to growing the region's STEM ecosystem by connecting creative individuals with the resources and community they need to bring bold ideas to life.

Description

Since 2019, HoFaLab is “Your Hobby Fab Lab in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg”, a place for creative production as well as artistic research.
HoFaLab e.V. is aimed at (media) artists, hobbyists and anyone interested in learning how to use technology in everyday life in a self-determined and responsible way. To this end, we promote the acquisition of new technologies and production methods in workshops in the neighbourhood. The focus is on the shared experience of application and the HoFaLab as a contact point for people with and without expertise.
