Situated in CHAMBA, HIMACHAL PRADESH, India, Gmsss Sihunta is part of India's rapidly expanding network of Atal Tinkering Labs. Established under Tranche Jul-22 of the Atal Innovation Mission, The lab provides students from Class 6 to 12 with unrestricted access to modern fabrication and prototyping equipment, including microcontrollers, IoT development boards, and CAD design workstations. Under the guidance of trained ATL mentors, learners tackle real community challenges by designing, testing, and iterating on innovative solutions. The programme emphasises collaboration, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial mindset — skills that extend far beyond the school curriculum. Gmsss Sihunta stands as a cornerstone of STEM education in HIMACHAL PRADESH, empowering the next generation of innovators.
