About Fau Fablab

Fau Fablab is a community Makerspace in Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany, Germany. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. The space hosts regular STEM workshops, coding sprints, and design thinking sessions that attract talent from across Bavaria. Whether you are a first-time maker or a seasoned hardware engineer, Fau Fablab offers the tools, community, and mentorship needed to build, iterate, and innovate — making it one of the most valuable innovation resources in Germany.

Description

We are the first student founded FabLab of Germany and located at the technical faculty of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
The Lab is run by students and other volunteers and during lecture time almost always open to the public.
