About Fab Lab Uni
Fab Lab Uni is a community Makerspace in Lima, Peru, Peru. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. The space hosts regular STEM workshops, coding sprints, and design thinking sessions that attract talent from across Lima. Whether you are a first-time maker or a seasoned hardware engineer, Fab Lab Uni offers the tools, community, and mentorship needed to build, iterate, and innovate — making it one of the most valuable innovation resources in Peru.

Nace el año 2010 por iniciativa del Instituto de Arquitectura Avanzada de Cataluña (iaac.net) y la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (aecid.es) quien financia la capacitación técnica e instalación del primer Fab Lab de sudamérica en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (uni.edu.pe).
