Fab Lab Tijuana is a community Makerspace in Tijuana, Baja California, Tijuana, Mexico, Mexico. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. The space hosts regular STEM workshops, coding sprints, and design thinking sessions that attract talent from across Baja California, Tijuana. Whether you are a first-time maker or a seasoned hardware engineer, Fab Lab Tijuana offers the tools, community, and mentorship needed to build, iterate, and innovate — making it one of the most valuable innovation resources in Mexico.

Description

Fab Lab Tijuana started as an iniciative from USAID, Carlos Slim foundation and Iberoamericana University Puebla (Ibero Puebla), this fablab has as part of its main goals to become a place where youth in risk of violence could start learn new ways to develop their ideas and become part of a community that can help them to develop their potential.
