Fablab Tehran in Tehran, Iran is more than a workspace — it is a launchpad for innovation in Iran. the lab offers state-of-the-art equipment, including 3D printers, laser engravers, electronics benches, and CAD workstations, within a collaborative, community-driven environment. Startups use the space to build early-stage hardware prototypes; educators run practical STEM sessions for school groups; and independent makers pursue personal projects with expert support on hand. Regular themed hackathons and innovation challenges help participants push boundaries and connect with like-minded creators across Tehran. Description
We have a DIY 120 square meter creative space that provides open and membership based access to digital fabrication tools, education workshops, making events and a vibrant community. We help individuals and universities learn about the application of digital technologies, rapid prototyping, 3D printing and design practices.
Now, we have a range of fabrication tools including laser cutters, 3D printers, milling machines, sewing machines,and traditional hand tools (saws, drills, hammers, chisels etc).
Our Lab provides four core services:
1. Shared work-space for schools, universities & individuals to work and develop ideas
2. Offer access to various digital fabrication machines
3. Skills development and technology education through events & workshops
4. A business accelerator, translating innovative concepts into businesses
