Fab Lab Outaouais Par La Fabrique Mobile De L'outaouais in Gatineau, Québec, Canada is more than a workspace — it is a launchpad for innovation in Canada. the lab offers state-of-the-art equipment, including 3D printers, laser engravers, electronics benches, and CAD workstations, within a collaborative, community-driven environment. Startups use the space to build early-stage hardware prototypes; educators run practical STEM sessions for school groups; and independent makers pursue personal projects with expert support on hand. Regular themed hackathons and innovation challenges help participants push boundaries and connect with like-minded creators across Québec. Description

The Fabrique Mobile de l'Outaouais was launched as a solidarity cooperative on September 21, 2017 with the support of the Cégep de l'Outaouais, (francophone) in Gatineau, Quebec. In October 2018, Cégep Héritage (English-speaking) joined us as a user member of our services and we implemented and manage the Cegep's FabLab, the first fab lab in the Outaouais region. The lab is now named Fab lab Outaouais.
The social mission of the Fabrique Mobile de l'Outaouais is to participate in the emergence of a culture of innovation and cooperation through technological creation.
