About Fab Lab Maya

Fab Lab Maya is a community Makerspace in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo, Mexico, Mexico. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. The space hosts regular STEM workshops, coding sprints, and design thinking sessions that attract talent from across Quintana Roo. Whether you are a first-time maker or a seasoned hardware engineer, Fab Lab Maya offers the tools, community, and mentorship needed to build, iterate, and innovate — making it one of the most valuable innovation resources in Mexico.

Description

Fab Lab Maya is located in the Maya Zone of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Our main purpose is to introduce technology in all the levels of education to support projects that improve the main economic activity in our area, tourism. This a very complex activity, that is why our vision is to support software engineers, craftsmen, architects and people with the intentions of get involved in the world of fabrication.
