Description

FABLAB 2300 has its place in the National Museum of Playing Cards in Turnhout. It is part of the larger EFRO-funded project "Rock Paper Pencil", trying to give starting comic book authors and board game designers the tools and knowledge needed to further their careers. Though the initial choice of hardware was made based on their needs, we are open to the larger creative and educational community - organising workshops with schools, helping hobbyists bringing their creative ideas to life and trying to become a creative hot spot for Turnhout and the surrounding areas.

Hardware in the FABLAB 2300 consists of:
Lasercutter Vera (C02-laser, 130 cm x 90 cm)
HP Latex Printer 315 (currently equipped for vinyl & paper prints)
SummaCut S-class 2 plotter 120T
Ultimaker 5 3D-printer
Risoprinter SF 9350 (1 drum) with black, bright red, ultramarine and yellow inks.
