Description
Su misión es fomentar la innovación, el pensamiento creativo y la cultura maker entre estudiantes, docentes e investigadores, promoviendo la autogestión de proyectos científicos, tecnológicos y sociales con impacto local y enfoque sostenible. El laboratorio está equipado con herramientas de fabricación digital como impresoras 3D, cortadora láser CNC, visores de realidad virtual Meta Quest 3, trituradoras y extrusoras de plásticos, que permiten el diseño y prototipado de objetos funcionales en diversas áreas.
A través de talleres, asesorías y colaboraciones interdisciplinarias, Biomaker Lab impulsa el desarrollo de soluciones educativas y tecnológicas vinculadas a las ciencias del mar, biotecnología, geología y medioambiente. Es un laboratorio donde las ideas se transforman en prototipos, y los prototipos en proyectos con propósito.
