About Ace Lab

Ace Lab is a community Makerspace in Cleburne, United States, United States. it provides open access to digital fabrication tools, electronics labs, and collaborative workspaces for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and independent makers. Members can work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and electronics prototyping equipment to turn ideas into functional prototypes. The space hosts regular STEM workshops, coding sprints, and design thinking sessions that attract talent from across United States. Whether you are a first-time maker or a seasoned hardware engineer, Ace Lab offers the tools, community, and mentorship needed to build, iterate, and innovate — making it one of the most valuable innovation resources in United States.

Description

Career and Technical Education (CTE) in the Cleburne Independent School District (CISD) is focused on preparing students to excel in the 21st century. The Association of Cleburne Engineering (ACE) Lab is a center for creative minds, providing training and technologies for interdisciplinary collaboration.
The ACE Lab Initiative began as an outreach project from the Center for Bits and Atoms at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Each lab within this global network ascribes to the Fab Charter in order to allow users to "make (almost) anything!"
The ACE Lab serves to democratize access to technologies and materials that enhance Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) project-based learning.
The ACE Lab is in the Engineering & Robotics Space at Cleburne High School.
