The South Fab Lab - Lebanese University Makerspace in Lebanon, Lebanon, is a dedicated innovation centre for students, engineers, and creative professionals. it combines professional-grade fabrication equipment — including 3D printers, laser cutters, and microcontroller development kits — with a supportive community of makers and mentors. The lab actively supports the STEM ecosystem in Lebanon by hosting workshops on topics ranging from robotics and AI to sustainable design and product development. Description

As part of Gil, South Fab Lab is established to empower students, professionals, artists, techies, entrepreneurs, and makers across Lebanon and equip them with the latest digital manufacturing technologies and a vast array of resources to create, fabricate, and transform their ideas into working prototypes and innovative products.

South Fab Lab is located at the Lebanese University-Nabatieh Campus, a place where engineers, students and makers can transform their ideas to prototypes and products .

South Fab Lab presents a variety of machines and equipment such as CNC router machine, vinyl cutter, 3D printer and laser cutter, in addition to electronic working station.

South Fab Lab offers training sessions related to product design and digital fabrication, 2D modeling, 3D modeling, prototyping, and robotics. Which qualify beginners and empower intermediate and advanced pupil to elevate their experience in order to exploit it.

The Lab aims to the lead the community of creatives, being the first Fablab in the south region of Lebanon
